Words from Chinese Students in 2011
Dear teachers and friends in Basel University:
My life in Basel is really precious. Through this project held by Basel University, I learn a lot of things that I cannot obtain from books and life in China: Independence, international eyesight and open attitude towards difference, etc. All of this would not come without your help. I learned a lot from the teacher, classmates and other people lived here. If possible I hope you can also come to China, I think you’ll also have an unforgettable trip here like my trip in Swiss.
Welcome to China!
Lizzy

I would like to present my most sincere gratefulness to you, Andrea, Prof. Sharkey and all the staffs in Basel University for offering us the chance to exchange our ideas and understandings in the course of WWZ summer school, as well as experiencing the teaching atmosphere in Western Europe countries. It had helped us a lot in our future decision of pursuing a further degree. I believe the corporation between Basel University and Sun Yat-Sen University could enhance our friendship to a new high level.
The people in Basel had been very hospitable and helpful to us when caught in difficulties of all kind, which had left us a great impression of Basel and Switzerland. I’d like to thank Aaron Alter and Stefan Tomka, my classmate in the course of Pharmaceutical Regulation, who had helped us a lot both academically and in our daily life. Your extraordinarily hospitable reception will last in my memory for as long as I live.

It’s a really great experience to study in University Basel. Professor Wargo is friendly and he is eager to communicate with us. He often encouraged us to think more and ask more. Visiting the nuclear power plant is also a wonderful and unforgettable experience. I feel grateful that Wargo provide us with such a great chance. I should also give thanks to Vanessa, who is also nice and help us a lot.
