Course Content

The second part of the course, taught by Georg Nöldeke, considers strategic behavior. The main tool to analyze strategic behavior is game theory. Consequently, more than half of the lectures in this part of the course will be devoted to a discussion of strategic form games, extensive form games, and the associated solution concepts. In the remaining lectures we consider auction theory and mechanism design.
