We are proud to celebrate another milestone in our joint Master’s program in Finance!

📚Starting in 2023, the Faculty of Business and Economics, University of Basel offers a Master's program in Finance together with Tilburg University in the Netherlands, leading to a joint degree from the two universities: an MBA Finance from the University of Basel and an Executive Master in Finance (MiF) from Tilburg University. The program committee is chaired by Prof. Pascal Gantenbein, while operational responsibility lies with the two academic directors of the participating universities: Prof. Pascal Böni from Tilburg University, and Prof. Heinz Zimmermann from the University of Basel.

After awarding our first 5 diplomas in 2025, we are delighted to congratulate the next 7 graduates who successfully completed the program this year:

• Marius Blatter(Relationship Manager, Baumann & Cie Privatbankiers, Basel and Zurich)
• Annina von Falkenstein(CEO, Vito Schweiz AG, Basel; Member of the Grand Council of the Canton of Basel-Stadt)
• Eduardo Ferreira (Investment Advisor, Vice President, Itaú Private Bank, Zurich)
• Ksenia Kissil (Investment Analyst, Pictet Asset Management, Geneva)
• Alexander Lonskiy (Financial Data and Reporting Officer, YouHodler, Lausanne)

At the Faculty level, the graduation ceremony on 24 April 2026 in the Aula of the University of Basel was a wonderful celebration, with a total of 64 Bachelor’s degrees, 52 Master’s degrees, and 7 Doctoral degrees awarded. The keynote address was delivered by Dr. Conradin Cramer, President of the Government of the Canton of Basel-Stadt and alumnus of the University of Basel, accompanied by musical performances 🎸from Mario Bartoli and Jero Richard Nyberg.
