AcademiaNet is an international database with profiles of excellent female scientists with the aim of increasing the proportion of women in leadership positions in science.
AcademiaNet was initiated in Germany in 2010 by the Robert Bosch Stiftung and the publisher “Spektrum der Wissenschaft”. In 2020, the Swiss National Science Foundation assumed responsibility for the platform.
