👨🏫 Professor Dierynck is a Full Professor in Accounting, known for his multidisciplinary research in management accounting, operations management, organizational behavior, and corporate responsibility. His work, which uses quantitative methods, is published in leading journals. An award-winning teacher, he lectures on management accounting, strategy implementation, and corporate responsibility across various programs. He also heads the PhD program at Tilburg School of Economics and Management and holds degrees from KU Leuven, with visiting positions at Emory University and INSEAD.
This course focuses on enabling managers to leverage information to achieve organizational objectives like maximizing value creation. It covers the role of management reporting systems in supporting decisions and aligning incentives efficiently and effectively, forming part of the organization’s management control system. 🎓📊
