Graduation CeremonyFaculty of Business and Economics

For all bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees obtained during fall semester 2025, the graduation ceremony will take place on 24 April 2026 in the Aula of the University of Basel (Kollegienhaus).
Start of the ceremony: 17:00, followed by an aperitif (approx. by 18:15). Attendance by invitation only and prior registration. As a graduate please register yourself and the number of guests via this linkno later than 30 March 2026.
Rehearsal
In preparation for the ceremony, we ask all diploma candidates to arrive at the Kollegienhaus (Aula) as early as 15:45. We will go through the procedure of the diploma ceremony with you and conduct a standing rehearsal. This will be followed by group photos of all graduates (bachelor's and master's degrees as well as the doctorate's). We will provide the photos afterwards.

As a graduate, please register for the ceremony no later than 30 March 2026.
As a bachelor's or master's graduate, you can register up to two guests. If you would like to bring a third guest, please indicate this on the registration form.
Once we know the total number of registrations (i.e. after the registration deadline), we will let you know whether there is still sufficient capacity for all guests to attend the ceremony in the auditorium. If not, we will stream the ceremony from the auditorium to lecture hall 118, from where your third guest can follow the ceremony.
All guests are cordially invited to attend the reception to follow.

You can either pick up your graduation documents in person at the Dean of Studies Office after the graduation ceremony or we will send them to you by registered mail.
