The Life Sciences sector is one of the key pillars of Switzerland’s economy, research and innovation landscape. At the same time, increasing international competition is creating new challenges for the Swiss location and raises the question of how its attractiveness and competitiveness can be secured in the long term.

In their new White Paper, “Securing Switzerland’s Leadership in the Life Sciences”, the authors examine the economic and institutional framework conditions that are essential for Switzerland to remain a leading international Life Sciences and pharmaceutical hub. The Paper proposes six policy priorities / regulatory changes in the light of geopolitical and technological disruption.
