My name is Sebastian Link and I am a Senior Economist at the ifo Institute in Munich and Lecturer at the University of Basel (part-time). I'm also a member of the Junior Faculty of LMU Munich, IZA@LISER Research Fellow, and CESifo Affiliate.
I am an applied economist and my research covers various topics in (Behavioral) Macroeconomics, Labor Economics, and Public Economics. In particular, I use micro data to study the reaction of firms to public policy (e.g., taxation, minimum wages, or government measures during the pandemic) and macro shocks, as well as the expectation formation and attention allocation of firms and households.
