Regulations for the study
General regulations that affect all students at the University of Basel are laid down in the Student Regulations.
There are study regulations for each degree program. These are adopted by the relevant Faculty Assembly and approved by the University Council. You can compare these regulations with a legal text. Usually, there is a Study Guide to each study regulation.
Please note that not all documents are available in English. However, those relevant for the master's programs taught in English (Business and Technology, Economics and Public Policy, International and Monetary Economics, Finance and Money) were translated whenever possible.
