Every summer the Faculty of Business and Economics offers a variety of two-week courses regarding the subjects of Business, Law and Economic Policy during the summer months (July, August) in Basel. These interactive Basel Summer School courses are led by renowned professors from Georgetown University, New York University and Yale University and aim to better understand how the US and Europe take different approaches in tackling societal and business-related problems. The Basel Summer School courses are each worth 3 ECTS and can be credited to the bachelor`s and master`s program.

The U.S. Seminar, a highlight of the Zaeslin+Maag Program and our master’s studies at the University of Basel, offers students the chance to research, present, and discuss their work at top U.S. universities, network with leading academics and institutions, and experience a 10-day academic trip to Washington D.C. and New York City.
